When working with stock footage, one problem that I constantly face is the issue of "cleanliness". Yes, cleanliness, most stock footage is HD and so sharp you can cut digital steak with it. Well, not anymore, as in walks Aged Film from Digieffects.

Anyhow, the awesome scratchy, jittery, low quality filmish aged look is all digieffects. They really know how to screw up footage in a good way. The shine effect is courtesy of Red Giant software from their very capable suite Trapcode. The stars come from Trapcode form.

Well, unfortuately, my first effort at posting this vid has not come out perfectly as some of the right half is being cut off. However, it is late and I gots other things to do.
